Opportunity Overview We are opening a new studio in Madrid and are looking for a Game Tester / LQA Specialist to join our team. What Will You Do? Play and test the games, find linguistic bugs, and report them using our bug database. You will communicate clear English, work day shift Monday–Friday, and will be onsite at Alvento Business Park, Vía de los Poblados, 28033, Madrid. Responsibilities Ensure games and applications provide the best user experience by being linguistic bug‑free. Check in‑game text for linguistic accuracy and compliance with cultural rules. Follow Universally Speaking LQA process and professional standards. Create detailed bug reports with industry‑standard databases. Own the verification that bugs are fixed and implemented correctly. Become the LQA expert across Indie to AAA projects and areas of specialization. Own, manage, create, and execute test cases throughout the project life cycle. Participate in test requirement gathering with developers to support all features. Proactively seek improvement opportunities and create efficiencies. Cooperate with the QA team. Measures of Performance Quality, velocity, and precision of bug reports. On‑time delivery. Teamworking and communication. Continuous improvement and knowledge of LQA workflow and techniques. Requirements Expert in Korean. Proficiency in written and spoken English. Passionate about video games. Team player, able to work under pressure within tight deadlines. Pro‑active, tenacious, and enthusiastic. Attention to quality and detail. Good computer skills – word processing, database handling, record keeping, MS Office Suite. Right to work in Spain – sponsorship not offered. Desirable Skills Previous experience in LQA, translation or proofreading. Experience with software tools used for LQA testing (test case management and text editing tools). Working knowledge of CAT tools (MemoQ). Knowledge of the video game industry and trends. Bachelor’s or higher degree in linguistics (desirable but not essential). Benefits Fixed‑term contract. On‑site training provided by on‑site experts. Salary €17k–€19k per year (depending on experience).
