You will work with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of our next‑generation networks and assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our network.The position's responsibilities include scaling support of several data center locations, day‑to‑day assistance with capacity management, working closely with internal customers and external vendors to facilitate smooth project execution as directed by Network Leadership and Technical Project Managers, and leveraging your experience supporting large‑scale, enterprise‑class networks alongside network implementation and troubleshooting.Key Job ResponsibilitiesManaging work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projectsCollaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstaclesTroubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cordsSpecifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipmentParticipating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardwarePhysical RequirementsRegularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; and participate in group lifts for 41+ poundsAbility to work in an environment that operates 24/7 with an ability to participate in primary responder rotation and provide after‑hours support as neededWorking in cramped and/or elevated and/or noisy environmentsBending, lifting, stretching, reaching, standing and walking for up to 8+ hours a dayAscending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitationTraveling within and outside of the regional work area is required.About the team: Why AWS Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
