We reimagine the possible across the nuclear industry every day.About the role:As a Structural Analyst Engineer you will be a member of the Component Structural Analysis group managing advanced technical evaluations and analyses carried out on major nuclear safety class components and piping and providing many services within structural mechanics (design activities, factory/workshop follow-up, and support to nuclear power plant modifications or refueling outage) in a wide range of projects, including long-term operation support, seismic qualification, major component replacement, and plant modifications.You will report to the Manager, Component Structural Analysis, and be located at the Madrid headquarters in San Sebastián de los Reyes with a hybrid work schedule (remote and in-office). This is a full-time role.Key Responsibilities:Perform engineering evaluations and analyses of technical products and services within the structural mechanic's fieldPerform hand calculations and finite element analysis calculations in ANSYS to verify the qualification of nuclear power plant components to the appropriate standardsDocument analyses in EnglishPropose integrated solutions to technical challenges that may arise during projectsParticipate in international project teams and communicate with relevant partiesPotential travel to provide engineering support directly to our teams performing activities in the nuclear power plantsBased on the experience acquired and the performance obtained, you may progress towards the path of technical expertise, project management or managementQualifications:Master's degree in Mechanical engineering1+ years of experience in similar roleKnowledge of nuclear industry and mechanical component stress analysis, fatigue and fracture mechanics assessments, finite element analysis software for structural analysisExperience with ANSYS APDL and WorkbenchFluent in English and Spanish#LI-HybridWhy Westinghouse?We know that to put forth your best effort, you need to be challenged and enjoy what you do in a supportive and respectful environment.
