We use some of the latest technologies in the digital and cognitive field to empower organizations in every aspect.Right now, we are looking for Consultant Analytics to join our team at Bluecap Reinvention Studio This studio has more than 15 years of experience in providing consulting services, specialized in the financial sector.You will get the chance to:Work with professionals who have created some of the most revolutionary solutions in their fields.Make an impact. Work in large-scale projects globally.Interact with the top management of leading national and international Financial Institutions.Be actively involved in the development of our projects: identifying and solving problems, formulating hypotheses, managing relations with clients, and proposing solutions.Lead complex quantitative, strategic, and financial analyses.We develop quantitative financial models mainly for Credit Risk by applying both traditional methodologies and state-of-the-art Machine Learning techniques:Linear Models, Regularized Linear Models (LASSO, Ridge, ElasticNet) and Tree Models (Random Forest, Gradient Boosting) for classification and regression problems on tabular data.(1D Convolutional) Neural Networks and transformers for speech & text analysis.Time series (ARIMA).We work with massive amounts of data with all the processes that it entails (data mining, data cleaning, feature engineering...) with the aim of feeding the construction of the models and all kinds of analyses. Given the variety of projects we develop, we look for consultants who provide creative and data-driven solutions, so mathematical and analytical thinking is the key to success.What will help you succeed:Experience in strategic consulting.Experience in organization and planning.High capacity for teamwork.High degree of commitment.Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.Flexibility, goal-oriented, and dynamic.Enjoy solving problems and thinking “out of the box”.Knowledge in the banking sector.Basic modeling knowledge: Predictive regression and classification models, data cleaning, and feature engineering.Knowledge of Machine Learning framework and overfitting controls.High programming capabilities. Proven knowledge of Python is preferred (or experience with one of the following or similar languages: R, Matlab, or C++).Experience in distributed computing environments such as PySpark will be valued.Experience in Credit Risk will be valuable (estimation and validation of A-IRB parameters, rating/scoring models, stress testing...).Fluent in Spanish and English. Other languages will be valued (Portuguese, French, Italian).
