We are seeking a talented Backstack Solution Engineer to join our team Job Description WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We are currently seeking an Expert Backstack Solution Engineer to join our team in the Lending & Smart Contracts domain — a key area in our digital banking transformation. You'll play a crucial role in developing and deploying technical and functional specifications aligned with business needs, ensuring compliance with internal quality and operational standards. Initially, your work will be focused on Smart Contract development within the Lending area, so some base knowledge of banking products (Loan, RPA, etc.) is a strong asset. If you're passionate about backend technologies, building clean and scalable code, and working in collaborative Agile teams — this opportunity is for you YOUR MAIN TASKS WILL BE: Develop and deliver backend services and components based on provided business/solution designs. Ensure code meets Santander's internal quality and operability standards. Document your work using internal tools (JIRA, Confluence, ALM). Collaborate across the full development lifecycle: design, build, test, deploy, and support. Analyze issues alongside QA and Business Analysts and contribute to effective solutions. Review user stories to identify technical dependencies and mitigate early-stage defects. Actively participate in Agile ceremonies: planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery and integration. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Mandatory Requirements: Strong experience developing in TypeScript (JavaScript experience is also considered). Solid background in backend application development. Hands-on experience with GraphQL APIs. Knowledge of financial products, especially Loans and RPA. Experience with Java (Spring Boot, version 17). Familiarity with event-driven architectures. Good communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus). Team player with a proactive and open mindset. Nice to Have: Experience with cloud services (Openshift, Kubernetes). Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins, UrbanCode). Database query development experience (Oracle). WHAT DO WE OFFER YOU?
