This Position reports to: Service Team Leader In this role, you will be assuming responsibility for the programming, engineering, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of ABB industrial Drives and control-systems in Metals and Pulp and Paper Plants. You will be part of a local and collaborate with international project team providing solutions to our clients. As a Field Service Engineer, you will execute service work with low to medium complexity according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. Performing service tasks like commissioning and preventive and corrective maintenance of AC&DC Drives and Control systems Service Technical Support: Take on-call service according customer contracts, at least one complete week every three weeks. During the week of on-call service, 24h availability to travel and attend customer's corrective maintenance Adapt work time to customer needs, that means to work when required extra hours during weekends or public holidays Willingness to travel (~60%-80%): for commissioning and service activities, mainly domestic travels and customers Interacting and collaborating with project managers, sales, customers, and engineering peers across multiple locations Consulting with and advising customers on the best service solutions in accordance with standard processes, procedures and safety guidelines. Identifying opportunities to develop new service applications, equipment and methods.
