3rd Engineer

We are currently recruiting a 3rd Engineer / Tender Engineer to join a 74m dual-season private/charter yacht on a 5:1 rotation.This is a great opportunity for a motivated candidate looking to build sea time toward further tickets, while gaining solid experience in both engineering support and tender/toy operations.The Role Working under the guidance of the Chief and 2nd Engineer, the successful candidate will assist with daily engineering operations while taking primary responsibility for tenders onboard.Key Responsibilities Assist the 2nd Engineer with daily engine room operations and maintenance.Responsibility for tenders, toys, and associated maintenance.Support engineering watchkeeping as required.Assist with drills, safety checks, and compliance tasks.Maintain a clean, organised, and safety-focused working environment.Requirements AEC (minimum) – higher qualifications welcomed.Valid ENG1 and STCW.Yacht experience preferred but not essential.Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.Good teamwork and communication skills.Package Salary: USD 5,000 DOERotation: 5:1Cabin: SharedStart Date: Early JanuaryThis role is ideal for a junior engineer or tender-focused candidate looking to grow within a well-run yacht in a supportive engineering team.#J-18808-Ljbffr
