What you’ll be working on As the first junior hire in our dedicated data science practice, you will have a unique opportunity to make a significant impact. Key Responsibilities Analyze large and complex datasets from various sources related to Amazon sales, advertising, and logistics. Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models for tasks like sales forecasting, inventory optimization, and pricing strategies. Collaborate closely with the software engineering members of our technology team to integrate data science models into our production systems. Communicate findings and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Must-Haves Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering. A strong foundation in fundamental mathematical and statistical concepts. Deep proficiency in Python for data science, encompassing both its core libraries (e.G., pandas, polars, NumPy, scikit-learn) and modern software development practices (e.G., version control with Git, testing, documentation). Proficiency with SQL for data querying and manipulation. Excellent English communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a small, distributed team. Nice-to-Haves Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch. Experience with, or a strong interest in, modeling dynamic systems (e.G., using concepts from control theory, physics, or econometrics). Work Setup & Offer ? Location: Remote from Andalusia ?
