Presales Technical Consultant Tier 1 – DACH The role manages proof-of-concept projects, contributes to technical documentation, and simplifies technical information for customers. Additionally, the consultant collaborates closely with sales teams, qualifies opportunities, and provides technical expertise throughout the presales cycle. Conduct meetings and presentations with potential and existing customers to gather information about IT infrastructure, challenges, and goals. Qualify potential services and software opportunities and develop comprehensive technical solutions addressing customer pain points. Design and manage proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate feasibility and value of proposed solutions. Provide training to sales teams and other presales consultants on new product features and sales strategies. Support proof-of-concepts and provide hands‑on technical assistance during hardware, software, and services evaluations. Technical Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience. CCNA, CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar certifications are a plus. Strong understanding of IT Infrastructure, networking, cloud computing, and cybersecurity principles. Familiarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, SaaS, virtualization, APIs, and enterprise application software.
