From Boomerang, we are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join a multinational pharmaceutical company . The role can be based in Spain, the UK, France, Germany, or the Netherlands , supporting multiple European markets and working closely with international stakeholders.Role PurposeThe Senior Legal Counsel sees legal as a business enabler and will act as a strategic partner to senior leadership and to Commercial and Business Development teams.This is a senior, high-impact role with strong exposure to the business and significant autonomy, focused on the negotiation, drafting and management of complex pharma agreements, with a particular emphasis on licensing-related work and international deals.Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Legal AdviceProvide senior, pragmatic and business-oriented legal advice across key functions (Business Development, Commercial, Finance, Operations, Procurement, HR).Identify, assess and mitigate legal risks in strategic initiatives, proposing practical solutions aligned with growth objectives.Act as a trusted internal legal reference, ensuring preventive, value-adding support to the business.2. Complex Contracting & Licensing (core of the role)Lead the drafting, review and negotiation of complex agreements, both domestic and international, across the scope/markets supported.Drive pharma licensing work, with proven hands-on experience negotiating agreements such as:License & Supply AgreementsTechnology
