Technical Support Consultant

Location: Office based in Madrid, Spain. Contract: Temporary Contract (6 months) Reports to: Technical Support Team Lead The Job Role Are you looking for a challenging Technical Services Consultant role within a fast-paced working environment? If so, this is an excellent opportunity to utilize your technical skills and join our friendly Technical Services team in a progressive international software house. This role is working from our office in Madrid, Spain to manage the support and installations of our solutions throughout the region and occasionally English-speaking customers in Europe. This role requires an enthusiastic, details orientated individual with a 'can-do' attitude who can provide high quality technical support to our Managed Print and Scan Solution (PaperCut, Umango, Princity, DocSlide and many more) and other products on our portfolio. Job Responsibilities Providing technical support via the helpdesk, by telephone, email, and remote assistance. Perform remote installations and training, with occasional customer on-site visits Troubleshooting and replicating customer issues in-house in virtual test environment. Supporting internal staff with Office 365 and general IT software and hardware issues. Maintaining and supporting internal infrastructure and services. Working closely with the support team across Europe. Required Skills and Experience Good communicator with excellent telephone manners. Native-level Spanish and advanced English (communicational) skills. At least 2 years of experience working in a customer support environment is required. Administration experience in Microsoft servers and clients, including Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, Active Directory and Azure AD. Some knowledge in non-MS platforms such as Apple and Linux at administering level is preferred. Experience with print management solutions such as PaperCut (highly desirable) Good technical experience and skills in troubleshooting and problem solving. Ability to self-learn and resolve complex issues. Good organizational ability, good memory and an eye for detail. Ability to cope well under pressure.
