Job Information Department: Digital Transformation Reporting to: Innovation Strategy Project Manager Working Journey: Full-time contract (40h) Job Location: Valencia Region, Spain Work Mode: Remote or hybrid Job Mission Bunzl Continental Europe is establishing an AI center of expertise, enabling our Operating Companies to explore, develop, and scale AI-driven solutions. This center of expertise will provide a structured framework for identifying high-impact (Gen)AI use cases and developing and testing prototypes for the different Operating Companies. Key Responsibilities Build Innovative Solutions: Develop AI solutions from scratch, leveraging artificial intelligence to solve real-world business challenges. Integrate AI Across Businesses: Collaborate with Operating Companies within Bunzl Continental Europe to implement AI solutions. Be an AI Advocate and Trainer: Empower teams by training them on how to effectively use AI technologies, fostering innovation and skill development across the organization. Maintain and Enhance Systems: Ensure current applications remain optimized, scalable, and aligned with modern technology standards. Required Experience/Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written). Additional languages are a plus. Technical Skills: Experience in development using Node.js Proficiency in consuming and integrating RESTful APIs. Familiarity with general AI tools and concepts (preferred but not mandatory). A passion for learning and applying AI technologies is essential. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical teams. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges. Proactive and passionate about driving technological innovation. Residency: Based in Spain, preferably Valencia or East Spain, or willing to travel to Valencia a few days per month as needed for in-person meetings or projects. What Do We Offer?
