You will be responsible for protecting our entire technological infrastructure through the design, implementation, and maintenance of security controls. Position and Mission (ROLE DETAILS)Company: Fuerte Group Hotels (A family of professionals committed to development and excellence).Location: Marbella, Málaga, Spain.Mission: Design, implement, and maintain security controls and solutions to protect the organization’s technological infrastructure. Your goal is to prevent attacks, detect threats, ensure the operational continuity of critical systems, and support incident response.2. Essential Job Functions (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)Your daily role focuses on defense, analysis, and compliance across the security landscape.2.1. Security Architecture and OperationsFirst, design, implement, and optimize the security architecture across networks, servers, applications, and cloud environments.Administer and maintain protection tools such as firewalls, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, WAF, SIEM, and authentication systems.Execute configuration validations (hardening) and technical reviews. This ensures alignment with best practices.2.2. Monitoring, Detection & AnalysisContinuously monitor the infrastructure. Furthermore, review logs and analyze events to identify anomalous or suspicious activities.Conduct periodic analysis, security testing, maturity evaluations, and internal/external penetration tests (Pentesting).Supervise the use of corporate applications. This prevents abuse or information leakage.2.3. Risk & Incident ResponseExecute vulnerability scans, evaluate risks, prioritize findings, and coordinate remediation with responsible areas.Protect critical organizational assets using preventive and corrective controls.Crucially, lead and support the response to security incidents. This involves containment, forensic analysis, eradication, and recovery.2.4. Compliance & GovernanceApply and ensure compliance with security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls).Define and maintain security policies, processes, procedures, and controls.Define and adjust Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies to protect sensitive data.3. Candidate Profile (JOB REQUIREMENTS)3.1. Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Degree in Cybersecurity Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a Technical Degree in Informatics.Experience: Minimum of 2 years of functional or similar cybersecurity work experience.Postgraduate/Specialization: Training in tools and techniques for the specification, development, production, and maintenance of software programs is valued.3.2. Technical SkillsCore Competencies: Deep domain knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, SSH protocols, and traffic analysis (Wireshark).Security Tools: Experience with New Generation Firewalls (NGFW) , secure network architecture (DMZ, segmentation, VPNs, Zero Trust), and Vulnerability Scanning tools (Tenable Nessus, Qualys, or OpenVAS).Hacking: Experience with Ethical Hacking and penetration testing (black, gray, and white box).Systems: Basic administration skills in both Microsoft and Linux operating systems.Other: Advanced knowledge of Excel, SQL Databases, and code version control tools (GIT).3.3. LanguageEnglish: Level B2 is required.4.
