Make your mark for patients We are looking for a Medical Science Liaison, Rare Diseases Neurology who is scientifically driven, collaborative, and proactive to join us in our RDO team, covering the areas of Andalusia and the Canary Islands. About The Role The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Rare Diseases Neurology drives peer‑level scientific exchange with clinicians and researchers in neuromuscular and autoimmune diseases, with a focus on myasthenia gravis. The role builds trusted scientific relationships, supports clinical development activities, and enables co‑creation of solutions that address ecosystem needs. Operating locally while collaborating closely with EU Field Medical leadership, the MSL acts as a key connector between external stakeholders and UCB’s internal capabilities to advance patient value. Who You’ll Work With You will collaborate closely with Clinical Development Solutions/SEM teams, Market Access field teams, and cross‑functional partners across UCB. You will engage with clinical trial sites, investigators, key opinion leaders, patient advocacy groups, and centers of excellence. The role requires strong teamwork, scientific partnership, and alignment with the EU Field Medical Lead for Rare Diseases Neurology. What You’ll Do Build the rare disease MSL function focused on neuromuscular autoimmune disorders Engage clinical sites, investigators, KOLs and patient groups to advance patient outcomes Execute regional stakeholder engagement using scientific expertise and ecosystem insights Collaborate with Clinical Development and Market Access teams to create external medical value Map territory, identify key networks, and collect customer insights through digital tools Support clinical trials, evidence generation, and scientific partnerships across the ecosystem What we’re looking for MD or PharmD considered with strong scientific background 3 to 4 years of MSL experience or similar field medical role. Strong execution of medical plans and excellent scientific communication skills Digital literacy and proven KOL engagement capabilities Clinical operations understanding and ability to work independently in the field Fluent in Spanish with a good level of English Willingness to travel regularly; valid driver’s license Are you ready to ‘go beyond’ to create value and make your mark for patients?
