At Celonis, the Workday HCM team is responsible for the strategic configuration, optimization, and maintenance of our company’s core Human Capital Management system. Our mission is to ensure our Workday platform is efficient, accurate, and perfectly aligned with our business needs and user experience goals. We’re seeking a hands‑on, skilled Senior Workday HCM Engineer to join our HR systems team in Madrid. The role will work closely with our People Operations team to provide functional and technical support for all HR initiatives across our Workday applications, including Core HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent & Performance, Advanced Compensation, Learning, People Analytics, and Peakon. Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable features for Workday HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, Talent & Performance, Advanced Compensation, Learning, People Analytics, and Peakon. Provide regular updates on project status, task priorities, and implementation complexity. Collaborate closely with the ServiceNow team, Workday Finance team, and IT infrastructure teams, to design and implement cross‑platform solutions and integrations. Advanced‑level knowledge of Workday business process configuration, security, report writing, calculated fields, and EIBs. ~ Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex Workday functionality to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. ~ Including generous PTO, hybrid working options, company equity (RSUs), comprehensive benefits, extensive parental leave, dedicated volunteer days, and much more.
