This role involves implementing advanced security measures, monitoring threats, and responding to incidents to maintain a secure and reliable technological environment.Key Responsibilities:Network Infrastructure Protection:Implement and manage firewalls, network segmentation (VLANs), and secure protocols (TLS, IPSec).Monitor network traffic to prevent unauthorized access.Data Confidentiality and Integrity:Apply encryption to data in transit.Prevent interception attacks and ensure communications remain unaltered.Authentication and Access Control:Enforce strong authentication (MFA) for authorized users.Define and implement identity and access management policies.Incident Monitoring and Response:Utilize tools to detect anomalous traffic, DDoS attacks, and protocol exploitation.Coordinate rapid response to security incidents.Protection Against Social Engineering and Phishing:Configure systems to block fraudulent communications.Technical Support and Advisory:Provide consultancy and guidance to users and technical teams.Assist in maintaining network, virtualization, and server infrastructure.Qualifications Requirements:Education:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or equivalent in Communications.Experience:Minimum 3 years in user advisory/consulting and technical support.Advanced knowledge in networking: routing, switching, VLANs, MAC, port security, stacking.Advanced knowledge in operating systems and virtualization.Experience with data services: Internet access, VPN, SD-WAN, WiFi networks.Security experience: Firewalls (Checkpoint, Fortinet, Cisco Firepower), configuring rules, interfaces, and traffic analysis.Familiarity with CISCO Call Manager, Windows Server, VMware, Veeam, Wasabi.Certifications (preferred): CCNA, CCNP, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Dell (servers/storage).Languages: English proficiency.
