We challenge the industry, believe in long‑term partnerships, and deliver solid investment opportunities that enable next‑generation logistic solutions.About the vacancyTo support our worldwide growth, we are recruiting an experienced Project Engineer to join our internationally operating Design & Engineering Team. The role focuses on project engineering and developing engineering skillsets within the team. You will be responsible for the design and construction of the building and its installations from the Business Development phase until final hand‑over to our Operations Department.What will you do?Manage the development, implementation, and evaluation of complex designs, progressing projects while identifying and managing risks.Oversee product construction and testing to ensure efficient completion of projects.Evaluate and improve changes that substantially impact scope, budget, or schedule.Develop new engineering concepts for the benefit of our warehouses (e.g., Energy Management).Provide input regarding project outcomes and resolve escalated issues arising from operations in coordination with other departments.Provide strategic direction to ensure successful project outcomes and completion.Give engineering life‑cycle support to realized warehouses.Support Business Development initiatives.Support Operational initiatives while safeguarding NewCold's Design and Engineering standards.Support Sustainability initiatives and integrate them within NewCold's standard design.Prepare tender packages for the general contractor and other specialist contractors.Support the permitting process and strategy.Liaise with local engineers for input on design.Who are we looking for?Master’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.At least 5 years of experience in logistics real estate (as contractor, developer, consultant or client).Evidence of a strong background in Project Engineering.Willingness to travel fairly regularly.Comfortable working in a dynamic environment.Highly proficient in English; proficiency in another European language is a plus.ApplyIf you are interested in this vacancy, please submit your CV in English.
