We design, manufacture, and service the products and solutions that keep the world connected, delivering critical infrastructure in the Data Center industry to a global customer base. Position Summary As Technical Sales for the Switchgear and Busbar systems business unit you will be responsible for technical support to the Sales teams, focusing on electrical power distribution solutions from grid connection to servers. You will work closely with customers, Sales teams, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders to design tailored solutions that meet customer requirements and align with Vertiv’s capabilities. Background in the design of Electrical Power Distribution solutions in the Data Center industry or in other large power distribution sectors (Oil & Gas, Chemical, etc.) is strongly encouraged. Responsibilities Drive sales of the electrical power distribution portfolio with consultative selling. Partner with customers to understand technical requirements and develop customized solutions using Vertiv’s product portfolio. Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals. Review RFQs and identify customer requirements/specifications. Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to validate designs. Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and project progress using CRM tools. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Proven experience in technical sales with solution selling, preferably in electrical power distribution. Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems and related standards. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to travel (30%) to customer sites and Vertiv offices as required. Minimum 10 years of technical sales experience. Physical & Environmental Demands Travel required.
