Join us in shaping the future of defense with groundbreaking aerospace innovationsWhat You’ll DoAct as the technical authority within the procurement team evaluating suppliers based on manufacturing capability aerospace standards and production maturityWork hands on with suppliers during part development and industrialization ensuring designs are robust manufacturable and ready for series productionReview and challenge manufacturing processes tooling choices materials and tolerances to optimize cost quality and lead timeTranslate engineering drawings specifications and requirements into clear actionable supplier documentationSupport make or buy decisions by assessing technical feasibility production risks and cost driversLead technical discussions with suppliers during RFQs supplier selection and contract award phasesDrive cost reduction initiatives through design for manufacturability value engineering and process optimizationCollaborate closely with design engineering production quality and supply chain teams to align technical and commercial objectivesWhat You’ll NeedEngineering degree in mechanical aerospace industrial or a related field5+ years of experience in manufacturing environments with direct exposure to production and industrialization.Proven track record working with suppliers on technical topics including manufacturing processes materials and cost optimizationStrong ability to read interpret and challenge technical drawings specifications and tolerancesDeep understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining sheet metal composites or assemblyExperience supporting supplier qualification audits first article inspections and production ramp upsAbility to identify cost drivers and lead design for manufacturability and value engineering initiativesComfortable leading technical discussions with suppliers and internal stakeholdersExperience working in regulated environments with strict quality and documentation requirementsStrong problem‑solving skills with a hands‑on mindset in production driven settingsEnglish and Spanish fluency is our working language.Who You AreYou are an engineer with a strong production mindset.
