The role Position Title : Maintenance Manager Reporting directly to the Plant Manager Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the maintenance of machinery molds automation and other production tools with the primary premise that their work must always be carried out with the highest standards of Workplace Safety Quality and respect for the Environment . Key responsibilities The Maintenance Manager will manage organize and plan the maintenance and improvement of machinery molds and tools. Key responsibilities will be as follows : Machinery : Assistence in its improvement and maintenance injection machines washing mil equipment for the operation of the facilities. Molds and automation : Assistance in their improvement planning and maintenance compliance. Monitoring of work carried out by external suppliers (mold makers) Energy : Address energy consumption and improve the energy efficiency of the plant New projects : Management and / or collaboration with the group and / or local entities for the development of improvement projects in the facilities Asset care : Implementation development and improvement of the AC project. Continuous improvement : Implementation monitoring and development of continuous improvement in the facilities. Process improvement : Study of the different MBU of the plant for improvement development and efficiency of the process. Specific functions and tasks of the positions : Lead the maintenance team ensuring compliance with the established work plan to meet deadlines. Apply continuous improvement and preventive maintenance policies to ensure the proper functioning of the entire facility. Achieve the departments objectives especially machine availability reduction of breakdowns and cost control. Strict control of the assigned maintenance budget establishing precise controls regarding the work to be done and the available spare parts to ensure the continuity of the plant without exceeding the spending limit. Monthly weekly and daily planning and monitoring of tasks included in the annual preventive maintenance plan. Manage external suppliers to obtain the necessary spare parts and coordinate the work carried out in the plant always ensuring safety. Lead the dismantling and commissioning of new machinery and / or automation installations. Responsible for monitoring and improving the facilities that are part of the different business units of the plant : injection area mill / washing area warehouse workshop etc. Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements for the facility. Ensure compliance with occupational risk prevention regulations and contribute to improving the conditions of the plant and workers. Lead SAMS meetings and work on indicators and improvement actions with the team. Establish improvements in the production processes of machines and automation for local products. Establish improvements in the mill-washing process aligned with injection. About You Technical knowledge in injection molding machines Technical knowledge in molds Knowledge in injection process and parameterization. Knowledge in processes associated with injection such as : water cooling aspiration system pneumatic system general machinery installations. Knowledge in robotics. Knowledge of industrial-level occupational risk prevention. Fluent English and Spanish.
