Join Our Team: Now Hiring a Communications and Marketing ManagerIAHR is looking for a dynamic and experienced Communications and Marketing Manager to join its Global Secretariat. This is a unique opportunity to lead the development and implementation of IAHR’s communication strategy , enhance global visibility , and engage a diverse community of water professionals and stakeholders.About the job The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing our communication strategy . You will lead our marketing campaigns , evaluate our communication performance metrics , and collaborate with internal teams . You will have a strong communication background with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.Responsibilities 1- Coordinate and implement IAHR communications by:Drafting annual communications plans for approvalDrafting multi-year communications strategies for approvalCoordinating and liaising as necessary with IAHR staff and external stakeholdersImplementing the approved communications strategies and plans in a timely, professional, and high-quality manner.Daily communications operations2- Ensure effective outreach to IAHR membership and other target audiences3- Take care of writing , editing and preparing other communications materials4- Support the growth of IAHR by developing IAHR branding and communications standards and related materials, implementing marketing and advertising related activities and revenue streams5-Support the smooth functioning of the Global Secretariat and the Madrid OfficeQualifications and Skills Educated to degree level , preferably in a science subject area: marketing , communications , media or journalism5+ years' experience as communications and marketing managerAbility to multi-taskStrong verbal , written , and organizational skillsExperience in managing websitesGraphic design skills and experience of creating promotional literature , advertising or artworkExperience in measuring the impact of communications products and the ability to change strategies accordinglyA network of contacts in the media and the ability to effectively manage media relationsProcedure Send your CV and motivation letter to by Friday 6 February 2026About IAHR Founded in 1935, the International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR) is a not-for-profit, global, independent members-based organisation of hydro-environment engineers, professionals and researchers.More info:
