What is the objective of this project and what does it consist We are looking for a person with cross‑functional technical knowledge to actively participate in the Operational Safety Management of the Products manufactured by ITP Aero. The candidate will actively participate in the Safety Activities related to the operability of all products delivered by ITP Aero, identifying and managing the risks to assure the operability of our products. These activities will also include the promotion of a Product Safety Culture in the company, through the development and deployment of training and communication of safety‑related issues, all under the company Product Safety Policy principles. Main accountabilities Support in Product Safety activities including: Participation in risk identification and safety analysis. Participation in SCRA, 8D root cause analysis. Participation in the safety activities in Change Management. Support in the elaboration and monitoring of Safety Indicators. Participation in the definition of corrective actions and prepare the information for the Company Product Safety Assurance Boards. Support in the drafting and modification of internal Product Safety procedures, to comply with the different regulations. Support to the Quality department in updating the procedures and manuals affected by Product Safety and compliance with the different applicable regulations. Support in internal and external audits of the Product Safety System. Support in the preparation and deployment of Product Safety related training, as well as the promotion and communication activities of Product Safety Activities. Support in the coordination with Design Organisations (DOA) and Maintenance Organisation (MOA) on Product Safety aspects. What profile are we looking for? Education : Grade (BSc) or Master (MSc) in engineering Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Safety or Quality, Design or Production of aeronautical components. Knowledge in: Product Safety/Quality management. Risk management. Aeronautical engines operation and components. Problem solving tools: SCRA, 8D, MEDA. EASA Part 21 regulations. Computer packages (Office/SAP). Languages: High level of English. Soft Skills: Open to change, eager to learn, proactive, flexible, adaptable, with analytical skills, initiative and critical thinking. Communication, active listening and relationship skills, with the ability to navigate at the different areas in the organization, including senior leadership. Positive, respectful and optimistic.
