Hourly Rate: €15.67 Location: Barcelona (Office Presence Required) Contract: Temporary, 1 Year A leading technology client is looking for a Sustainability Compliance Specialist to join their team in Barcelona. This is a 1-year temporary contract with office presence required. What You’ll Do: Lead the detection, analysis, and implementation of sustainability regulations in the Nordic (Sweden, Norway, Denmark) and Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg) regions. Ensure compliance with regulations on WEEE, batteries, packaging, eco-design, waste shipment, supply chain responsibility, materials, climate, ESG, and the circular economy. Support analysis of EU-level materials regulations (RoHS, REACH, PFAS) and contribute technical input to consultations and advocacy. Collaborate with global teams to provide an overview of sustainability regulations impacting the business. What We’re Looking For: Passion for sustainability and making a positive impact. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a focus on sustainability, environmental policy, or related fields. Knowledge of sustainability policy and compliance requirements. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills. Excellent English communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders. Self-starter with analytical thinking, teamwork, and adaptability.
