Senior Water Operations Manager, AWS EMEA Energy & Water Team The successful candidate will oversee the operation and maintenance of the water supply, water treatment, legionella compliance, rainwater harvesting, discharge network and drainage systems for Data Centers (DC) in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud regions. The role requires a motivated, self-managed individual who demonstrates initiative and proactively seeks solutions to problems while striving for operational excellence. The role will continue to build upon existing processes to deliver improved business impact in terms of risk mitigation and reduced OPEX. Key responsibilities include: Driving continuous improvement efforts on infrastructure through standardization of procedures and policies Collaborating effectively with internal & external stakeholders to deliver operational excellence for all AWS customers Ensuring that the preventive maintenance of site-critical facility infrastructure is planned and executed to the highest standards Ensuring organizational capability to react & respond appropriately to any potential customer-impacting event on any component of water infrastructure The ideal candidate will have knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment, experience in data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other STEM field.
