What you do as a Lead Structural Engineer (MCF/ Data Centres) As a Lead Structural Engineer (MCF/ Data Centres), you will work with some of the most demanding global clients and collaborate with colleagues worldwide. Our Mission Critical Facilities (MCF) projects require advanced expertise beyond standard building features, allowing you to leverage skills in areas like Parametric Design, Automated Engineering, and Augmented Design. You will play a key role in challenging projects, primarily datacentres in Germany, within an internationally expanding engineering and consultancy firm focused on digital transformation. Conduct checks and attend meetings with clients and contractors during project execution; Review calculations and drawings and manage your own project administration and archiving. As our new Lead Structural Engineer, you will become part of the team Mission Critical Facilities in Spain. Our global Mission Critical Facilities (MCF) team provides a multidisciplinary package of consultancy services for our datacentre clients. We provide strategic, tactical, and operational advice to our clients, including colocation datacentres, internet service providers, and telecom companies. Our team consists of colleagues with all kinds of different expertise, such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, construction, civil, structure, building, architecture, fire safety, control engineering, and security technology. Together we use our knowledge and expertise to develop integrated designs for Data Centres. Here you will find examples of some of our projects. You will join a leading market and work with a dedicated and passionate team ranked as one of the best Data Centre design & engineering teams globally. MSc in Structural/ Civil Engineering, specialising in structural design of buildings; Strong knowledge of Spain standards and engineering practices; A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience at a Spanish consultancy or engineering firm; Proficient in 3D calculation software, with strong customer orientation, technical knowledge, and analytical skills (preferably related to datacentres); Spanish and English language proficiency, with Dutch, Polish and/or German as an advantage.
