We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Deputy to join a large-scale industrial project in South Spain (coastal location).This is a 12-month assignment with an urgent start, offering the opportunity to support the Electrical Lead and ensure the electrical scope is delivered safely, on schedule, and to strict technical standards.The RoleAs Electrical Deputy , you will work as the right hand of the Electrical Lead, coordinating electrical activities on site, supervising contractors, and helping troubleshoot technical issues quickly and realistically.You’ll collaborate closely with construction, HSE, commissioning, automation and project management teams to maintain quality, performance and compliance across the electrical packages.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Electrical Lead with planning and coordination of electrical worksReview electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, schematics and documentationSupervise electrical contractors on site and verify actual progress vs scheduleEnsure compliance with electrical standards, installation procedures and QA/QC requirementsMonitor energization activities and support lock-out/tag-out processesIdentify technical deviations and drive corrective actions without unnecessary dramaCoordinate closely with HSE to ensure safe electrical practices at all timesParticipate in testing, FAT/SAT, pre-commissioning and punch lists• Prepare technical reports, risk highlights and progress updatesProfileProven experience as Electrical Deputy / Electrical Supervisor / Electrical Engineer on industrial or large construction projectsBackground in process plants, energy, utilities, heavy industry, or similar environmentsSolid understanding of LV/MV systems (HV a plus), earthing, protection, and cable managementExperience working in multi-contractor environments under tight timelinesGood knowledge of QA/QC, commissioning workflows and documentationProfessional level of English and SpanishEU right to work requiredLocation & ConditionsSouth Spain – coastal area with good connectionsApprox. 12-month durationWorking hours aligned with Spanish legislationLocal candidates preferred; rotation possible for EU-based profiles
