Research ContractsCall for three positions in the Research, Training and Mobility Programme – IFMIF-DONES.Publication date: Thursday 23 de December de 2021.The purpose of this call is the recruitment of 3 positions aimed at university graduates to carry out a research, training and mobility programme at international research centres and laboratories related to the IFMIF-DONES project, financed by the Regional Government of Andalusia through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).RequirementsPosition at the Accelerator Control System at the LIPAc Center – Rokkasho Fusion Institute QST (Rokkasho, Japan). University degree in physics or engineering. At least two years of accumulated professional experience in particle accelerator, nuclear fusion environment, or similar. Experience in EPICS, Linux and other relevant technologies, such as Siemens PLC, National Instruments cRIO, FPGA, VxWorks, as well as professional experience in a European or international setting. Good command of both written and spoken English.Position on neutronics for DONES at KIT (Karlsruhe, Germany). University degree in physics or engineering (preferably Nuclear engineering). At least 2 years of relevant work experiences in the following areas: Radiation transport simulations using MC codes, preferably MCNP; creation and modification of MCNP geometry using CAD modelling tools and conversion tools; performance of data analysis using scientific visualization codes, e.g. ParaView, VisIt, Origin. Flu communication and documentation using English.Position for DONES Remote Handling at ENEA (Brasimone, Italy). University degree in physics or engineering (preferably Mechanical, Nuclear or Mechatronic engineering). At least two years of proven professional experience, experimental work for a thesis included. CAD Capability (CATIA or equivalent) and knowledge of object-oriented programming language. Ability to use MATLAB and toolboxes and to integrate into an international and multicultural environment. Strong communication skills, good organisational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
