Join to apply for the Spacecraft Operator role at SateliotSateliot is a Barcelona-based startup in the New Space sector, becoming the first satellite telecommunications operator that will provide global and continuous connectivity to all the elements that make up the massive Internet of Things universe under the 5G protocol.To achieve this, Sateliot is launching a constellation of next‑generation nanosatellites that act as mobile towers in low Earth orbit. The satellites serve as a complement for large telecommunications companies, providing infrastructure where terrestrial technologies are unavailable.YOUR MISSIONYour mission at Sateliot Mission Control Center will be to operate satellites in LEO orbit as a Payload, ACDS, EPS, Thermal, Thruster, and TM&TC subsystem engineer. The role includes operating the Key Technology Enablers for the 3GPP 5G Rel 17 NTN service implemented by Sateliot.Activities include support at all mission phases, including commercial operation and routine operation at L1 with the support of the satellite and payload manufacturer.YOUR MAIN FUNCTIONSMonitoring and control of the satellites to ensure smooth constellation operations. Participation in a 24/7 shift pattern and on‑call support is required.Execution of platform and payload activities based on the requirements of commercial operations.Execute emergency procedures to ensure spacecraft safety and continuity of service, supporting anomaly investigation and resolution.Prepare, validate, and maintain operations procedures and other documentation, mission‑specific tools, databases, and products based on lessons learned.Participate in commissioning of all satellite subsystems in collaboration with the manufacturer. Generate reports and support the service manager to close the commissioning phase.Define LEOP, commissioning, and routine procedures of future missions in collaboration with the manufacturer.REQUIREMENTSEducation & ExperienceRequired Education: Higher education qualification (Vocational/Professional Training) or a BSc degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Aerospace Technology, or a similar field. A master’s degree is a plus.Experience: Proven experience in operational environments related to technology, computers, and networks.Early‑Career Opportunity: Designed for career starters with zero to two years of professional experience.
