Candidate should be ready to work from office 4 days / week.With over twenty five years experience in crafting market leading software, our business has been rapidly evolving and is now a global player in solving business challenges and developing tailor-made cutting edge solutions.These challenges require a dynamic and highly skilled workforce imagining, designing, engineering, and delivering software, through to business consulting services & customer experiences, which are changing the world around us.You will be working alongside globally renowned and award-winning design, development and technology teams who are passionate about what they do and how they do it.We always hire for a career in EPAM, but the initial client for this hire is a leading UK based Hedge Fund with aggressive growth aspirations and a challenging delivery agenda.Our Business Analysts work at a deep level with clients within an existing distributed team, helping form specifications and ideas for new systems and acting as a key bridge between development and testing teams and front office trading, risk and quant staff.What Youll DoReview and solve daily exceptions raised on Equities, Bonds, Issuers, Equity and Credit Indices, etcWork with data vendors such as Bloomberg and S&P to correct inaccurate data pointsCommunicate effectively with all key stakeholders and subscribers of reference dataReference data onboarding using Azure Databricks including data quality checks and alertingAssist with testing during regular and major sprintsWork with EDM developers for overall maintenance of platformHelp with defining and documenting procedures for reference data in order to increase data quality and integrity within the organizationWhat You HaveSignificant experience of work in Financial companies / projects and good understanding of Capital Markets, particularly of equity instruments3+ years reference data experience working for a buyside firmProficient in SQL and Python coding languagesDemonstrated understanding of how organisations consume, lifecycle, and manage their dataExcellent understanding of reference, security, instrument and entity data typesGood theoretical knowledge of the inputs needed for derivative and securities pricingShows initiative and willingness to learnClear and concise communication styleNice to havePrior experience working with Markit EDM software and data lake technologiesExperience working in a fast-paced environmentExperience working with developersPrior experience building a security masterWe OfferWORK & LIFE BALANCE.
