No Offer Description We are seeking a PhD to join the LAMP group at the Computer Vision Center (CVC), in Barcelona, Spain. This is a 4-year position dedicated to the project “Foundations for Adaptive and Generalizable Deep Learning” (EXPLORA) , funded by Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades/AEI, focused on ‘Continual Learning for Foundation Models’, where the aim is to adapt these models to new tasks without forgetting previous knowledge. The precise focus of the project can be defined in collaboration with the supervisors, with potential avenues including optimization aspects, parameter‑efficient adaptation methods, model merging theory, multi‑modal continual learning, or adaptation to open‑world scenarios.
