We’re on the lookout for a Resident Automation Technician to ensure smooth operations of complex systems at the plant of one of our key clients in the food and beverage industry, based in Girona.
Responsibilities
- Perform corrective maintenance and troubleshooting activities on the equipment to ensure efficiency.
- Carry out preventive maintenance activities in accordance with maintenance plans.
- Report on system performance and performed activities (including anomalies and corrective actions) to the Customer and E80 Group.
- Build and maintain a strong relationship between the Customer and E80 Group based on trust, daily commitment, technical results, and equipment's reliability.
- Organize periodic meetings on E80 Group's system performance with the Customer's representatives.
- Conduct periodic on-the-job training for the Customer's personnel.
- Promote improvement activities, modifications, and extensions to the system or equipment, co-supervised by the Direct Manager and in agreement with the Area Manager.
- Manage spare parts on-site, suggesting reorder points and purchases as needed.
- Organize and manage the maintenance area, tools, and equipment available from E80 Group and/or the Customer.
Technical Requirements
- Technical qualification in the electromechanical field or industrial automation.
- Good understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings.
- Previous experience as an electromechanical or transfer technician, electrician, or automation engineer, ideally in the manufacturing sector.
- Ability to perform electromechanical work at heights and in confined spaces (after completing specific training).
- Knowledge of Siemens PLC, Beckhoff, Fanuc, Allen Bradley, or Rockwell is not mandatory, but will be considered a plus.
Soft Skills Requirements
- Desire to make a difference and daily represent E80 Group in front of the Customer.
- Fluency in Spanish (spoken and written); intermediate level of English or Italian (spoken and written).
- Excellent communication skills, intuition, strong autonomy, and proactivity.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Curiosity about learning new technologies.
Other Requirements
- Permanent rights to work in Spain, with no restrictions.
- Driving license and car required.
