Velto Renewables (Velto), a subsidiary of CDPQ (Caisse de Dépôt et Placement de Québec), is looking for a Finance & Controlling (intern) to join its team in Madrid, and to assist in the project finance and controlling activities of the company. ¿Está pensando en solicitar este empleo? Established in 2020 and backed by the global investment group La Caisse, Velto Renewables is committed to contributing to the decarbonization of the global economy and the European energy transition by investing in and developing an international and multi-technology portfolio of renewable energy projects. Velto currently owns more than 320 MW of operating and under construction solar PV and wind projects in Spain and France, manages a 25% investment in a 630 MW offshore wind farm in the United Kingdom, develops 1+GW of greenfield projects in Iberia, and is seeking to grow its portfolio by becoming a local player in the countries and regions where it invests. We are looking for motivated students looking to start their professional career in renewable energy being part of a dynamic and to be involved in the global picture of the company. As part of the team, you will collaborate on: Supporting monthly financial control and KPI monitoring Assisting in cost analysis and budget variance tracking Helping with structured finance tasks and debt management Assisting in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders Gathering and analysing data to support decision-making xsgfvud Participating in ad hoc projects led by the Controlling department Profile Final-year student or recent graduate in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Engineering with a financial focus Good Excel skills High level of English (minimum B2) Interest in financial modelling is a plus Interest in the renewable energy sector and corporate finance Strong analytical skills, proactivity, and eagerness to learn in a challenging environment
