Overview Amazon is a global organization at the forefront of the digital economy and offers a great opportunity for a dynamic and experienced tax professional to manage the Amazon's India tax compliance function. The Tax Analyst will work on indirect tax compliance, audit and provisioning functions for key Amazon India group entities. The Analyst is expected to work independently with minimal support with internal and external business partners, identify and implement process improvement opportunities and drive positive change across the organization.Responsibilities Managing and Governing day to day GST compliance reporting for some key Amazon group entitiesWorking closely with cross function teams and improving tax compliance processesIndividually owning the process and work related to indirect tax auditEvaluating the tax effect and implications of business transactions from a tax compliance and audit perspectiveReviewing tax accounting, provisioning and leading interactions with internal and statutory auditorsWorking on various projects impacting the future strategy of the indirect tax function to minimize/mitigate adverse litigationPublishing trackers and dashboards on key tax risks and exceptionsWorking with internal stakeholders to gather required information for effective management of audit and litigation processGovernance, quality assurance and SLA management of services sub-contracted to third partiesBasic Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree4+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experienceKnowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced levelExperience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax departmentPreferred Qualifications CPAOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
