About the Role We’re seeking a visionary creative leader with deep expertise in developing ad concepts for digital paid media on Meta, TikTok, and other channels. You’ll dive into the pixels for tactical feedback on design and video, while threading the needle between performance frameworks, creative testing, and world‑building assets. A background in Design, Video Editing, or Performance Marketing is required, and you must be hyper‑focused on paid media performance and generating advertisements that sell products and services. This role is part of our Performance Creative service, a bundled AI‑powered creative strategy engagement. You’ll help clients mine ad hooks, bodies, and creative direction to improve performance, compete with AI‑enabled creative, and scale creatives with data‑backed testing. What You’ll Do Creative Strategy: Lead high‑tempo strategy and direction for full‑funnel ad programs on Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Amazon, and Display platforms. Short‑Form Video Expert: Deliver expert concepts and briefs that sell products through short‑form video. Data Analysis: Translate clients’ marketing strategy and performance data into clear, compelling ad concepts, using metrics like thumb‑stop rate, hold rate, and click‑through rate. Cross‑Team Collaboration: Brief designers and editors on static, animated, mobile‑first videos, and storyboards. Ability to quickly prototype in Figma or produce final assets without external help. Executive Presentation: Present creative work to stakeholders and clients with confidence, clarity, and strategic rationale. Performance Iteration: Monitor performance data with the marketing team to inform creative iterations and improve results over time. Qualifications 3+ years of creative strategy on performance ad programs, specializing in short‑form video and stationary assets. Experience on Meta is required. Portfolio showcasing performance ad work that directly impacted metrics such as hold rate or CTR. Evidence of creative diversity across high‑design and low‑fidelity work. Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator; ability to storyboard, cut, and ship ads. Deep understanding of media metrics – thumb‑stop rate, 3‑second hold, hook retention, CTR, CPA – and the ability to use them to drive testing decisions. Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Perplexity, Runway, etc.) to increase creative speed and volume, not just experimentation. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to give crisp feedback and navigate client pushback. Ability to turn vague goals into testable concepts, track results, and initiate the next iteration independently. Proficiency in Figma’s auto‑layout and component system; strong Adobe Creative Suite skills. Hard Disqualifiers No Meta performance creative ad experience. No portfolio link or lack of performance context. Strategy‑only with no hands‑on design ability. Inadequate client presentation and salesmanship.
