Junior Project Engineer Group-IPS is reshaping the future of Engineering and Architecture Projects. With EPCM expertise, we operate in more than 10 countries while fostering an entrepreneurial and team‑building mindset. We are looking for a Junior Project Engineer in our Madrid, Spain office. The role offers international and national project exposure and career development as part of the Buildings unit, responsible for managing EPCM building projects within the Real Estate sector. Our portfolio covers residential, hospitality, office, industrial & logistics, education and flex‑living projects, including the Velaya residential development in southern Spain, expansion of a private educational campus in Brussels, logistics warehouses in northern Spain, and office and fit‑out projects in Madrid and Barcelona. Responsibilities Support engineering activities during all project phases: conceptual, basic and detailed engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Assist with the timely delivery of engineering packages and interface with other disciplines (civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical). Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans in coordination with project management. Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation. Support technical and commercial vendor evaluations and procurement activities. Collaborate with technical support and guidance during site construction and commissioning, ensuring compliance with design, quality and safety standards. Advise on BIM methodology and sustainability consulting projects. Help prepare progress reports, risk assessments and change‑management documentation. Support client management and representation. Requirements Degree or master’s in Building Engineering, Civil Engineering or Architecture. 1‑3 years of experience in similar positions. Experience on a building civil project covering permitting, civil works, main infrastructure, contracting, construction management and supervision. Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritising effectively. Competence in MS Office, BIM and AI tools; Presto an asset. Fluency in Spanish, English and French; additional languages a plus.
