Residential Crew Leader

Current job opportunities are posted here as they become available. Rockaway, Inc. is seeking a dependable and motivated Residential Landscape Crew Leader to oversee a residential maintenance route. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who takes ownership of their work, leads by example, and understands residential landscape maintenance standards. Schedule Monday–Thursday: Start at 6:15 AM until the day’s work is complete Fridays: Available for make‑up days or additional work as needed Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a residential maintenance crew Take ownership of assigned route and daily production Ensure crews are prepared with proper tools, materials, and equipment for the day Maintain high standards for quality, safety, and professionalism Perform and oversee residential maintenance services including mowing, edging, pruning, and general landscape care Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and internal team members Track and record work using company‑provided tablet and software Uphold company standards and safety practices at all times Qualifications 3–5 years of residential landscape maintenance experience Proven reliability and punctuality Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate others Solid work ethic and willingness to learn new skills Knowledge of maintenance equipment and proper use Understanding of safe work practices Plant identification knowledge a plus Knowledge of pruning techniques Comfortable using tablets or basic technology (tech familiarity a plus) Compensation $23–$27 per hour , depending on experience and knowledge base #J-18808-Ljbffr
