We are looking for an Cyber and Digital Security Senior Specialist - Data Security to be part of our Infrastructure Security & Data Protection team. Position Snapshot Location: Barcelona Type of Contract: Permanent Stream: IT Security & Compliance Type of work: Hybrid Work Language: Fluent Business English The role Establishing and maintaining security products, platforms and solutions designed to mitigate Digital IT risks across the Group to ensure that information assets are adequately protected. This position will bring deep expertise in the Infrastructure Security & Data Protection Product in the context of Data Security. It will address existing and new technologies, establish new frameworks and continuously improve existing ones, while managing the more complex areas of the platform in regards to security. It will also support projects, architectural assessments, deployments and sustain activities across the lifecycle of solutions. What you’ll do Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of architectural designs, identifying potential security gaps, vulnerabilities, and threats. Develop mitigation strategies and work closely with stakeholders to implement necessary security controls. Identify and mitigate Data security risks and vulnerabilities through encryption, Database Security, Data Labelling, DLP and DSPM technologies. Ensure systems comply with relevant security standards and regulations, including AI. Respond to and support in resolving security incidents and breaches. Work with IT teams and stakeholders to implement SAP security solutions. Develop and/or review frameworks, standards, guidelines, controls and documentation to support security aspects of relevant SAP areas. We offer youWe offer more than just a job. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, System Analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience. 8+ years of experience in IT Security. Experience on data encryption, data labelling, DLP and DSPM as well as database security. Certification in corresponding IT Security fields. Experience in Audits, Risk assessment and Remediation planning/delivery and monitoring. Bonus Points if you: Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO 27001, ITIL, PCI and understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements. E.g. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences. Must be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
