Role Picsart is looking for a Senior Database DevOps Engineer to join the DevOps Database team. In this position, you will manage databases and search engines related infrastructure and services. If you have problem-solving skills and a solid knowledge base, ready to keep 24/7 availability in case of incidents if your presence is needed.Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure in the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).Implement and manage all database (SQL and NoSQL various databases) related infrastructure.Implement and manage all Search (Solr, ElasticSearch, OpenSearch) related infrastructure.Implement and manage messaging system (Kafka) related infrastructure.Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment.Collaborate with development teams to ensure best practices are followed for infrastructure and deployment.Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.Qualifications BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar relevant fieldAt least 5 years as DevOps engineer or infrastructure engineerAt least 3 years in database management (SQL and NoSQL)In-depth experience in the networking fieldExperienced with Ansible and TerraformFamiliar with various search system management (Solr, ElasticSearch, OpenSearch) and Messaging system (Kafka-zookeeper, RabbitMQ)Experienced with containerization (Docker, k8s on prem and cloud) as well as with datacenter and Cloud management (GCP, AWS)Familiar with Database backup-restoreOutstanding communication skillsTeam player and learning orientedExcellent verbal and written English communication skillsAbout Picsart Picsart is the world’s largest digital creation platform and a top 20 most downloaded app. Every month, the Picsart community creates, remixes, and shares billions of visual stories using the company’s editing tools.
