Microarchitect and RTL Design Engineer

Location: Barcelona, Spain Job Type: Full-time We are looking for a Microarchitect and RTL Design Engineer who can bring deep technical insight and architectural creativity to our advanced design projects. If you love working at the intersection of performance, efficiency, and scalability, this role is for you. What You’ll Do Develop microarchitectures for high-performance, configurable IP blocks. Own RTL design and implementation , optimizing for performance, power, and area . Collaborate closely with software, verification, and physical design teams to define requirements, specifications, and validation strategies. Contribute to design verification through assertions, test plans, and coverage closure. Participate in architecture reviews , bring forward design trade-offs, and ensure design robustness. What You Bring BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or in relevant field. 5+ years of hands-on experience in microarchitecture and RTL development . Strong proficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilog and familiarity with industry-standard EDA tools . Experience with high-speed, pipelined, low-power digital designs. Preferred Skills Solid understanding of on-chip interconnects, NoCs, and cache coherency protocols (Arm ACE/CHI or similar) . Experience designing IP blocks for memory subsystems, interconnects, and NoC fabrics . Familiarity with RAS, QoS, PCIe/IO designs is a plus. Working knowledge of Python or modern scripting languages . Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
