GTB & Structured Finance Middle Office Analyst Join to apply for the GTB & Structured Finance Middle Office Analyst role at Santander . Overview Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (Santander CIB) is Santander's global division that supports some of the world's most complex and sophisticated corporate and institutional clients, offering customized services and value-added wholesale products to best meet their needs. The Documentary Trade Middle Office Analyst is based in the Malaga Office and will support local middle office teams across European Branches, collaborating with Front Office GTB, bankers, legal, compliance, back office and IG in different geographies. Responsibilities Support the structuring, management and control of documentary trade transactions (Guarantees and Letter of Credit) booked in European Branches: checking client requests and collecting the right authorizations (legal, risk, compliance). Book transactions in MO system, review closing memo and file of all documentation. Control of precedent conditions in transactions. Monitor and report customer risk positions as required, raising identified risks. Monitor and control all documentation and signatures to start operations and/or disposal of the credit lines. Direct and proactive liaison with back office for booking transactions, fee management and various operational tasks. Support the accounting department providing relevant information related to transactions booked in the branches. Serve as a direct and first point of contact for clients and internal departments to provide information and solutions. Actively contribute to periodic internal administrative reports. Qualifications Strong academic track record (preferably in business administration, finance, accounting and/or economics). (Required). At least 1-2 years of experience in Documentary Trade Middle Office, preferably in an international environment, with a passion for financial concepts and strategic thinking. (Required). Education Bachelor’s degree required (preferably Master’s degree); strong academic record in business administration, finance, accounting and/or economics. (Required). Languages English: Highly proficient in spoken and written (Required). German: Highly proficient in spoken and written (Required). Spanish/Italian (Preferred). Skills Hard: Microsoft Office Package, proficient level (Required). Soft: Highly motivated, responsible, capable of working in a team, strong problem-solving abilities, and adaptable to a multicultural environment.
