What You’ll Do Welcome Guests with a Professional Attitude: Greet attendees warmly and provide helpful, attentive service throughout the event. Provide Smooth and Efficient Service: Serve food and beverages according to event standards, assist with guest requests, and follow the event’s service timeline. Maintain a Clean and Organized Environment: Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly and ensure banquet areas remain neat and presentable. Stay Prepared: Keep service stations and assigned areas stocked, orderly, and ready for use. Know the Event Setup: Understand the menu, event schedule, table arrangements, and service steps to offer accurate and efficient assistance. Support the Team: Work closely with coworkers and management to ensure each event runs smoothly. Assist with Event Duties: Help plate meals, refresh buffets, deliver courses, and address guest needs quickly. Help with Setup and Breakdown: Participate in setting up rooms, organizing materials, performing side work, and completing tasks requested by management. Qualifications Previous Experience: Experience in banquets or similar service roles is highly preferred. Strong Communication Skills: Ability to listen, understand, and respond to guests and coworkers effectively. Team Player: Willingness to contribute positively to the team and overall event success. Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in both English and Spanish to support clear communication in a diverse environment. A positive, service-oriented attitude with a commitment to guest satisfaction. Professional appearance and adherence to uniform guidelines. Reliable attendance and flexibility to work according to event schedules.
