The Country Marketing Manager, Iberia is responsible for building and executing country specific marketing strategy and plans that will support our regional Financial Intermediaries (FIT) business plan. The individual will be responsible for the following: The individual will: Further develop and execute Iberia marketing strategy to deliver on broader marketing objectives as well as local sales and marketing goals Build and manage a region specific marketing budget, including optimising the budget to ensure that we meet agreed KPIs and targets Articulate the need for and organise the execution of agreed local marketing tactics. These include but are not limited to: proprietary and third-party events, content, PR & marketing collateral Develop peer-to-peer relationships with local distributors and partners Own the deployment of local marketing infrastructure (agencies and partners) to enable execution of local marketing activity The individual will: Advise sales stakeholders on the availability and use of relevant pieces from our sales toolkits. Work with central marketing teams to localise the toolkit when needed. Plan, schedule and deploy specific elements of the toolkit in the local market (articles, newsletters, LinkedIn posts, web page updates). Copy edit market material deployed in Spanish language The individual will be responsible for: Proprietary and third-party events : Create a cohesive event strategy in partnership with sales stakeholders. Work with external vendors to ensure best-in-class participation at third-party conferences and fairs. Organise Capital Group hosted events across Spain and broader region in collaboration with event agency if appropriate Central and regional campaigns : Local implementation of centrally created advertising campaigns. Work with media buying agency to define media plan and add local insights to meet our KPIs. Partner with Campaigns team to ensure that all deliverables are produced on time and to the highest possible quality Local campaigns : Design, build and implement local campaigns. Work with FIT & IB Sales and Marketing stakeholders to gain agreement and input into local campaigns Localisation of content : Be the point person for regional translations and ensure high quality of marketing collateral in local language. Actively participate in process to use AI for translations Content distribution : define segment specific content distribution across channels incl. content platforms, newsletters, social media, etc. PR : Define and execute local PR strategy in collaboration with PR team and local PR agency. Bring in local business view and share planned marketing activities Analytics : Coordinate and monitor the tracking of predefined local program metrics. The individual will use this data to create insights and recommendations for other Marketing teams and local sales stakeholders Campaigns with distribution partners : If relevant develop joint Go-To-Market plans with local distribution partners that target increased distribution of Capital Group funds  The individual will: Collaborate with other country and European Marketing teams to influence strategic plans for our marketing channels (web, email, events) and functions (brand, design, writing / content) Participate in business planning and strategy discussion with both their local sales stakeholders and regional marketing associates Provide “local” input / feedback on the development of audience and product focused content by the Client and Product Marketing teams Understand the local client journey to select, sell / distribute and invest in Capital Group products and services Where relevant, actively participate in global marketing projects Provides functional expertise, best practices, and recommendations regarding the execution of large-scale campaigns in their markets The European Integrated Marketing department: The individual will join the European Integrated Marketing department. The team is responsible for: Understanding the needs of our target audiences and identifying target behaviours we wish to change Understanding and building a clear view of the client journey by audience Creating corporate and audience value propositions, as well as product level content that motivates the target audience to act / change their behaviour  Creating a co-ordinated and integrated Marketing communications plan that communicates these messages to the target audience Delivering dedicated sales tools, content and assets to help our sales teams drive the client journey Executing European and country specific Marketing plans and campaigns Tailoring global content and themes to the needs of the European market and our audience’s agenda Skills & Experience 5+ years marketing experience of working within the financial industry in Spain. Experience of broader Iberian region would be beneficial but not mandatory. Strong skills ideally across the full marketing mix including:Strategic marketing - ability to develop country marketing plan and campaignsPR – experience of working with PR agencies and/or local mediaEvents – experience selecting, budgeting for and project managing events incl. on-site managementAdvertising – digital & printEmail marketingWebsite maintenanceContent creation / thought leadership Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish – Native Spanish speaker preferred Strong business analysis skills High levels of energy and commitment High level knowledge of Marketing processes and tools The ability to coordinate and project manage delivery of key initiatives  The ability to interface with internal and external sales channels, understand their feedback and develop tools and content to address their needs Skilled at interpersonal communications and building strong working relationships Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritise effectively ‎  ‎  ‎  ‎  ‎  ‎  ‎  ‎  ‎  ‎  ‎  ‎   ‎   ‎  ‎
