What You Will Be Doing Ensure Elastic courseware remains up to date with the fast-evolving features of the Elastic Stack while incorporating feedback from students and collaborating with education engineers and cross-functional collaborators for both in-person and OnDemand content. Create scripts, programs, and other technical artifacts that will assist the students in their learning environment and labs for courses. Stay current with the latest developments in the Elastic Stack and similar technologies by actively engaging with GitHub repositories and other communication channels, fostering an approach of continual improvement and exploration. What You Bring Along A minimum of 4 years experience as an engineer, developer, or integrator in information retrieval or related technologies. A minimum of 2 years experience building and developing curriculum in collaboration with key stakeholders and other teams. Extensive experience in observability methodologies and tools used to detect and mitigate cyber threats to ensure robust and up-to-date security measures are integrated into system and curriculum development processes. BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related engineering subject area. Ability to learn quickly and express knowledge in impactful ways. Proven understanding of a programming language (and related ecosystem and libraries) in Windows or Linux/Unix environments, software development, and/or experience with search, databases and distributed systems. A desire to learn as much as possible about the internals and use cases of the Elastic Stack. Strong communication skills while multitasking at a rapid pace and a collaborative mindset for a highly distributed team. Bonus Points MS or Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related engineering subject area. Experience with Version Control (Git, SCM) and Scripting (Bash, PowerShell).
