DevOps Engineer (Contract) Hybrid working in Malaga
YanTech Associates have partnered with a leading technical consultancy in Spain who are looking to hire a Contract DevOps Engineer (minimum of 12 months with a likely extension).
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with development and data engineering teams
- Take the lead in automating and optimizing operations and workflow
- Assess and integrate tools and technologies to strengthen system infrastructure and processes
- Champion system improvements, particularly in container orchestration
- Document processes, systems, and best practices to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing
Minimum Requirements:
- 3+ years of DevOps experience
- Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Version control and repository scaffolding tools (Git, Maven Archetype, Yeoman, Custom solutions)
- Branching strategies (GitFlow, Trunk-Based Development)
- Continuous integration tools (GitHub Actions)
- Scripting languages (Ansible, Python, Helm)
- Container image builders (Docker, Podman, Buildah)
- Container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Programming languages (JavaScript, Python, Shell scripting)
- Monitoring tools (Beats, Prometheus, Grafana/Kibana, Dynatrace)
