We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Python Developer to join our growing team. This is a remote position open to candidates based in Europe.
As a Junior Python Developer, you will work on exciting projects, collaborating with experienced team members to develop and maintain Python-based applications. This role offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills and grow your career in software development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and improve existing ones
- Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving software issues
- Contribute to code reviews and implement feedback from senior developers
- Stay updated with the latest Python developments and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in Python development
- Strong understanding of Python programming concepts and data structures
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git
- Basic knowledge of web frameworks such as Django or Flask
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment
- Located in a European time zone
Nice to Have:
- Experience with RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Familiarity with database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies
