Its 121 spacious guestrooms and suites enjoy stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea or the port and the impressive Tramuntana mountain range, a UNESCO Heritage site.About the Role: An opportunity has arisen for a Housekeeping Manager position to join our Housekeeping Department in Jumeirah Mallorca. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:Plan, organize and supervise all Housekeeping activities.Ensure team is trained, motivated and focused.Set the standards of cleanliness and maintenance of all operations.Maintain the Hotel policies and procedures as agreed by the Management.Liaise with Front Office on forecasting VIP arrivals and ensure smooth communication between Departments.Conduct periodic inspections throughout the hotel to assess cleaning standards.Prepare departmental and assist in preparation of divisional budgets, ensuring adherence to the operational budget.About the benefits: This role has excellent employee benefits, making it attractive to high performers in the hospitality industry.Requisitos: About you: The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:Minimum of 2 years work experience in Housekeeping in an International Hotel Company.Minimum of 1 year management experience in a high volume housekeeping role.Experience in managing outsourced labor and casual staff requirements.Previous Housekeeping & Laundry experience as well as guest/employee relations training.Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and equipment requirements.Knowledge of proper chemical handling.Ability to communicate satisfactorily in English with guests, management, and co-workers.Skills: Excellent level of English and Spanish. Excellent organizational and team management skills. Excellent computer skills and knowledge of OPERA and other hotel systems would be an advantage. Interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead a team and manage conflict. Ability to maintain confidentiality of hotel guests and pertinent hotel information.
