Business Architect for Controlling and ReportingOverviewAs a Business Architect for Controlling and Reporting, you will shape financial processes in our organization. Your expertise in cost accounting, management accounting, financial data analysis within SAP systems (notably S4Hana), and reporting platforms will be invaluable. You will engage with our accounting and controlling community, addressing complex challenges and delivering tailored solutions. You will design processes for our templates and recommend continuous improvements to enhance efficiency, ensuring seamless integration across our legal entities worldwide. You will serve as the primary contact for key users and technical teams, sharing your expert knowledge and fostering collaboration. This role can be performed remotely from Spain or Portugal, offering flexibility in your work environment.Your role and responsibilities span the implementation and operational use of SAP FICO, FIORI, BW and ideally remaining modules such as SD, PP, MM-PUR, PS, to support the organization’s financial processes.What we offerWe are curious minds from diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences. Join us in building a culture of inclusion and belonging that empowers everyone to work their magic and champion human progress.ResponsibilitiesEngage with the accounting and controlling community to address complex challenges and provide tailored SAP-based solutions.Design processes for templates and recommend continuous improvements to enhance efficiency.Guide the implementation and operational use of SAP systems, ensuring seamless integration across worldwide entities.Act as the primary contact for key users and technical teams, sharing expert knowledge and fostering collaboration.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.QualificationsUniversity degree or comparable education.Expert knowledge in cost accounting, management accounting, business administration, and computer science.Extensive experience with technical setup of SAP ERP S4Hana Systems and ECC.Very good knowledge of SAP FICO and interfaced modules on ECC 6.0 and S4Hana.Familiarity with SAP BW, SAC or other reporting tools, and ERP interfaces is an advantage.Ideally 7-8 years of relevant experience in a similar role.Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.Strong team player with ability to collaborate across departments.Very good English language skills; proficiency in an additional language is a plus.Seniority level : Mid-Senior levelEmployment type : Full-timeJob function : Information TechnologyIndustries : Pharmaceutical ManufacturingEEO statement: Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Merck Group.
