Smadex is a cutting-edge ad-tech company that handles more than 4.5 million ad requests per second with a response time under 100ms. We process several terabytes of data daily to make our real-time components smarter. This time we're looking for a passionate Junior Software Engineer to join us and help us keep our platform in motion.This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with a hybrid working model based in Barcelona. What You Will Do In this role, you will get hands-on experience by: Building a cloud-based platform using modern technologies. Collaborating with highly-skilled peers in a fast-paced environment. Contributing to technical and architectural decisions. Participating in code reviews. What We Are Looking For You're an engineering or master's degree student. You're available to start immediately and work full-time (40 hours per week). You are self-motivated, eager to learn, and have excellent communication skills in English. Bonus points: Basic Linux skills and comfort working with a terminal. Experience with Java or Don't worry, you'll learn everything else you need Please note: We do NOT provide VISA sponsorship. Candidates without a legal permit to work in Spain will not be considered.
