NIETO SOBEJANO is looking for an Intermediate architect to assist the Project Architect to oversee the design process of an international project of large scale and complexity. The licensed professional will be in charge of assisting in the coordination of the project team, design plans and specifications, work closely with the client, stakeholders, and other consultants. Key competencies In-depth understanding of the construction industry in US Extensive knowledge of architectural design from inception to completion. Team oriented and collaborative Ability to manage multiple stakeholders Availability to travel Full-Time engagement Minimum of 4 to 7 years of experience Tasks to be performed Assist the Project Architect in overseeing the architectural elements of the project, including its design and feasibility. Draw design plans and assist the Project Architect in presenting them to clients for their input. Work with Architect of Record to ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations. Assist the Project Architect in managing the day-to-day responsibilities of the project, including the project team, resources and schedule. Coordinate with Architect of Record, Landscape Designer, Exhibition Designer, MEP Engineers, Structural Engineers, Façade Engineers, cost consultant, and/or other sub-consultants. Skills Management skills including delegation, overseeing the team's work while remaining focused on the project outcomes. Technical skills including proficiency in 2D and 3D software to design and document project including Rhino, Revit, and AutoCAD.Prior use of Revit in a professional setting a must. Leadership and interpersonal skills including team building and decision-making, motivating the team and make important decisions related to the project. Communication skills including providing important information to the team, stakeholders, and clients about the design and management of the project. Problem-solving skills including identifying and analyzing any project issues and finding effective solutions. Organization skills including prioritization and goal setting, accomplishing tasks tasks efficiently and effectively to meet project deadlines. Adaptability skills including responding to changes quickly and implementing different strategies to meet the project goals. Strategic thinker. Language skills Full professional proficiency required: English Professional proficiency considered as a plus: Spanish Immediate hiring is offered. Work permit (Spain)
