We enjoy a fun and dynamic environment and regularly host team events.Role OverviewAs City Operations Manager you will lead all on‑the‑ground operations in your market, managing and motivating a team responsible for quality assurance, maintenance and logistics to ensure every Ukio home meets our operational standards daily. Your focus is on execution, team leadership, process control and results, measured by KPIs such as speed, cost efficiency, quality and readiness.ResponsibilitiesLead, train and coach a local operations team across maintenance, apartment turnover, QA and logisticsCreate structure – daily stand‑ups, shift plans and checklists – to ensure operational rhythm and focusFoster a performance culture with clear accountability and recognition for strong executionConduct regular audits and performance reviews to ensure high output and quality consistencyDeliver flawless daily execution across all operational workflows – readiness, maintenance, logistics and inspectionsHit operational KPIs including readiness rate, SLA compliance, downtime reduction and cost‑per‑unit performanceQuickly diagnose bottlenecks, implement corrective actions and report progress against KPIsCollaborate with centralized planning and GX teams to execute schedules and priorities effectivelyEnsure SOPs are rigorously followed and continuously refined for efficiencyIdentify process inefficiencies, waste and improvement opportunities and implement measurable fixesDrive consistency and precision across the team's day‑to‑day workMonitor vendor KPIs, costs and SLA compliance – hold partners accountable to high standardsMaintain control over stock levels for all consumables, linens and suppliesEnsure supply chain reliability, minimal waste and efficient stock movementPartner with the central procurement team to track costs and implement savingsAbout youAt least 5+ years experience as a Hospitality / Guest Operations Manager or in a similar role, managing a team of at least 10 peopleSkilled organizer and effective communicatorFluent in English and the local language in your market (Spanish/Portuguese/French/Italian)Flexible, resilient and comfortable with ambiguity and changeConfident working in cross‑functional teamsComfortable performing in a start‑up environment (high grit, act with great speed, and adaptive to change)Strong leadership skillsAbility to oversee and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectivenessGreat planner with a keen eye for detailUkio's Life BenefitsPrivate Health Insurance with SANITASFlexible retribution with PayflowUKIO Anniversary giftTeam building and office eventsTransportation card (covering transportation for role‑related travel according to internal policy)Breakfast at the office, fruit, nutrition bars, free coffee/tea and popcornAmusing internal culture and no dress codeInternational working environment with many different nationalitiesEqual Employment OpportunityUKIO’s culture promotes and values each individual’s contribution.
